Trocadero in Estepona

"Went to celebrate my birthday with my wife. We first sat outside to have a cocktail and a snack. After seeing the extremely high price of the cocktail menu, I personally changed my mind for something else. My wife went for a pisco sour, which was nice. We decided to try the sushi and were pleasantly surprised, great quality! We will come back for it again. The wine menu was great and the price reasonable compared to the excessive cocktail pricing. We had a steak for main indoors, spot on and also the tomato ventreche salad which was creative and spot on. The place is stunning indoors, decorated with great taste. The sea view is something; you sit on top of the water, it's quite mesmerizing. We had multiple annoying hiccups with one of the wait staff who, it seems, was having a bad day and blaming the mix-up on the customers. I'm from the industry, and at that moment, I wished a bit more sensitivity would have occurred, but I also know that a bad day happens to all of us. Will definitely come back; sunset hours seem to be the best to make the most out of the location."

The ambience and atmosphere are truly phenomenal—I absolutely loved the tropical interior design, and the location is unbeatable, right in front of the sea. We ordered the paella and seafood pasta, both of which were quite good. While the food was decent rather than extraordinary, the overall experience was amazing. One of the standout features is the beautiful pool—it adds a resort-like feel to the place and makes it perfect for spending the whole day relaxing, eating, and enjoying the view. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu and enjoy the vibes again. It’s a great spot for a laid-back yet stylish day by the sea."

"A Memorable Evening Celebrating a Special Birthday We recently visited this lovely restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, accompanied by close family and friends. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. We were promptly escorted to our table, which was set outdoors with a stunning view overlooking both the sea and the pool area — a perfect and serene start to what turned out to be a truly enjoyable evening. The décor strikes just the right balance between relaxed and refined. It's an inviting space that works beautifully for both intimate dinners and lively group gatherings. There’s a genuine sense of comfort and elegance throughout the venue. As we had already enjoyed a lunch earlier that day, we decided to skip the starters and go straight to the main courses. Our party ordered a variety of dishes including the roasted chicken, fillet steak, a tomahawk steak for two, and the spaghetti vongole. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour — the quality of the ingredients and care in preparation really shone through. If there was one minor note, it would be that the selection of accompanying vegetables could have been a bit broader to complement the mains. The drinks menu is impressively curated. We began the evening with a few well-crafted cocktails and then moved on to a bottle of Barolo, which paired wonderfully with our meal. As a special toast for the birthday celebration, we ended with a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs — a perfect finale. Dessert was another highlight of the evening. The pavlova and chocolate fondant were especially memorable — both decadent and beautifully prepared. All in all, this was a fantastic venue for a celebration. The atmosphere, service, and quality of food and drink combined to create a wonderful experience that we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply a delightful evening out."
